Hygienic & Certified Sealing Materials

Food & Pharma

In the food and pharmaceutical industries, the highest requirements apply to purity, traceability and media compatibility. Sealing materials must not only perform technically – they must also be demonstrably compliant.

INNSEALS supplies elastomers and plastics that are tested and certified for use in hygiene-critical applications. Our materials meet the requirements of relevant standards and approvals, including FDA, USP Class VI, 3-A Sanitary and the UBA Elastomer Guideline.

Seals for Extreme Temperatures

High and Low Temperature

Extreme temperatures place special demands on sealing materials: materials must remain dimensionally stable at continuously high temperatures or retain their elasticity at low temperatures. Standard materials often fail prematurely under these conditions.

INNSEALS offers specially selected high-temperature and low-temperature sealing materials designed for continuous operation under extreme thermal conditions. The selection ranges from cryogenic applications to high-temperature processes in the chemical and process industries.

BAM-Tested and Standards-Compliant

Gas & Oxygen

The sealing of gases – especially oxygen – places high demands on material selection and material safety. In addition to media compatibility, permeation, flammability and pressure resistance are decisive selection criteria.

INNSEALS supplies sealing materials that are qualified for safe use in gas and oxygen systems. Our FKM materials for oxygen fittings are BAM-tested; NBR materials for gaseous media are certified according to DVGW in accordance with DIN EN 682 and DIN EN 549.

Sealing Materials for Hydrogen Applications

Hydrogen H2

Due to its small molecular size, high diffusivity and material sensitivity, hydrogen places special demands on sealing systems. Permeation, embrittlement and material compatibility are decisive factors in the design. INNSEALS offers sealing materials that are specially qualified for use in hydrogen environments. The focus is on materials with a low outgassing rate and high material density – as essential prerequisites for leak-tightness and process safety in H2 systems.

Chemical-Resistant Seals

Chemicals

In the chemical industry, sealing materials are often exposed to aggressive media, elevated pressures and fluctuating temperatures. Incorrect material selection leads to premature failure, unplanned downtime and safety risks.

INNSEALS supplies chemical-resistant sealing materials for critical application areas: FKM for biogenic media as well as hot water and steam applications, and FFKM for applications involving the highest chemical exposure and thermal stress.

For the Oil and Gas Industry

Oil & Gas

In the oil and gas industry, sealing systems are exposed to extreme loads: high pressure, aggressive hydrocarbons, H2S-containing media and explosive decompression events (AED/RGD) place high demands on the material and design.

INNSEALS supplies sealing materials that have been tested and qualified in accordance with the NORSOK M-710 standard – the recognized testing standard for elastomers in oil and gas production. Our portfolio includes FKM, FFKM and HNBR in NORSOK-compliant versions.
